We have been asking Avid for MIDI learn for ages but Brian has created this excellent work around whilst we wait for Avid to deliver. Many of you were very interested in how he used Controllermate to make this work and so Brian has created showing how it is done.

Because he uses Controllermate to convert endless rotary controllers and buttons MIDI data into mouse scroll wheel or mouse clicks and it works on the relative position within a plug-in window then it doesn’t matter where the plug-in is and what your system is, as far as Pro Tools is concerned it is responding to mouse data, nothing else.
